Close Business.</h3>Best Lights is seeking a driven&nbsp;Traveling Lighting Sales Representative&nbsp;to develop new business, build relationships, and grow sales throughout the United States.This is a hands-on business development and outside sales role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable&nbsp;prospecting, setting appointments, traveling to customers and project sites, developing opportunities, and ultimately closing business.If you enjoy opening doors, meeting customers face-to-face, and taking ownership of your sales pipeline, we want to hear from you.<h3>Who We Are</h3>Best Lights provides high-performance LED lighting solutions for commercial and athletic applications. Our products are designed around performance, reliability, energy efficiency, and long-term value.We work with contractors, sports and recreational facilities, universities, lighting representatives, and other organizations looking for dependable, high-quality lighting solutions.<h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul><li>Prospect for new business by phone, email, referrals, and industry outreach.</li><li>Build relationships with electrical contractors, facilities, representatives, and other potential partners.</li><li>Schedule your own appointments and develop productive travel plans.</li><li>Travel to customer meetings, project sites, presentations, and product demonstrations.</li><li>Qualify opportunities and gather the information needed for site analysis and quoting.</li><li>Follow up consistently with prospects and customers throughout the sales process.</li><li>Manage your opportunities, notes, follow-ups, and next steps in&nbsp;Monday.com CRM.</li><li>Work with Best Lights leadership for technical support and complex opportunities.</li><li>Take increasing ownership of opportunities from first contact through close.</li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><ul><li>Proven B2B sales or business development experience.</li><li>Strong outbound prospecting and cold-calling ability.</li><li>Confidence getting past gatekeepers and reaching decision-makers.</li><li>Ability to build relationships and ask for the appointment and the sale.</li><li>Self-motivation and the ability to manage your own schedule and pipeline.</li><li>Strong follow-through and organizational skills.</li><li>Comfort with frequent travel--approximately&nbsp;50% of the month.</li><li>Experience using a CRM to manage opportunities and follow-up.</li><li>Coachability and a willingness to learn a technical product.</li></ul>Experience in&nbsp;commercial lighting, electrical products, construction, building products, commercial equipment, or other technical B2B sales&nbsp;is highly desirable, but strong sales ability and the capacity to learn are equally important. <h3>What Success Looks Like</h3>Success means more than simply making calls.
